A MAP weekend that actually felt like a break

Breakfast and dinner sorted — afternoons free for the pool, spa, and one easy Ganga evening.

We used to over-plan Rishikesh: rafting slots, cafe lists, temple queues. This time we booked MAP at Panambi and deliberately under-scheduled.

Breakfast was unhurried — proper plates, not a grab-and-go lobby snack. Then the pool until noon. Spa mid-afternoon. Dinner back on property so we never hunted for parking in town after dark.

On Saturday evening we took a cab toward Triveni for aarti, then returned to the lawn when the lights came on. Watching the resort films beforehand had sold us on “between Rishikesh and Haridwar” — being close enough for the sacred circuit, far enough to sleep.

If you are driving up from Delhi for two nights, MAP is the setting that lets the place do its job.
